The biopic traces the eventful career of Tupac, rapper, poet and American actor assassinated in 1996 at the age of 25 years. The film revisits the ascent of the icon of the West Coast in the early 1990s. A success rate rhythm by its planetary tubes, arrests and competition with other rappers of the time, starting with The Notorious BIG, His greatest rival, himself murdered under mysterious conditions.
It is that the biopic dedicated to the rapper Tupac Shakur (1971-1996) by Benny Boom is rooted in this (dramatic) universe of Black Panthers! Even if I confess I do not know this musical universe or its famous rapper, the film beyond its qualities or defects was interesting to discover insofar as it allows the viewer to become aware of the racism intrinsically linked to the American culture.
