Matthew Morrison and Sarah Chalke are playing their sisters in a comedy drama in Los Angeles and Minnesota’s Northwoods.
Written by director David Anderson, Bachelorette-style television is due for its first feature. Unfortunately, it fits into a sibling drama series about parental death, and half of the Reality Post raises the other with the slightest resonance.
Although Matthew Morrison and Sarah Chalke created convincing chemistry as his brother, the bland story of Anderson is overflowing with familiar grass and drifts none of the characters into full blood. Using familiar faces on TV (including Morrison’s Glee citizen Jane Lynch’s cameos), the low-impact film would best fit the small screen spaces after the opening night at the Newport Beach festival.
